2.1 Automatic Formation of Histogram (Single Status GroupTime metric)

When you have only one status group time metric is created for your project, the histogram will be automatically generated to display the issue distribution over time.

2.2 Selecting a Status Group Time metrics (Multiple Status GroupsTime metrics)

If your project contains multiple status groupstime metricss, follow these steps to select a specific one:

  1. Utilize the dropdown menu provided to choose the desired status grouptime metric.

2.3 Key Elements of the Histogram Chart

  • Issue Distribution: It visually represents the number of issues within different time intervals.

  • Average Line: An average line is displayed, indicating indicates the average time of the issues in the selected status grouptime metric.

  • Default Bins: By default, the histogram is divided into 7 bins, each representing a distinct time interval.

  • Bin Width: Specifies the maximum number of bins (up to 50).

  • Underflow Value: Establishes the endpoint of the leftmost bin.

  • Overflow Value: Determines the starting point of the rightmost bin.

Note: Value Restrictions

  • The underflow value should not exceed the overflow value.

  • The overflow value must not surpass the maximum value of the status group time metric (sample).

3.2 Default Interval Calculation 

By default, the intervals are calculated as the difference between the overflow and underflow values , divided by 5. This ensures a balanced representation of the data.
