How to manage Access for HR: Employee User Profile Add-on

You can provide Employees with two types of data access - observe information (View mode) or edit it (Modify mode).

Only 4 admin user groups that have already been created in Jira have full access to control all sections in the add-on:

  1. administrator;

  2. Jira-administrators;

  3. site-adminis;

  4. system-administrators.

Click the addon's Technical menu to Manage Access:

 

This option is available only for Jira administrators. If you have enough rights, the access control window will open.

On the left side, you will be able to see a list of groups that have access to certain sections of the add-on.

 

The top header of the table indicates a list of sections that can be managed.

 

You can switch between Sections and Options tabs to configure access more precisely. In Sections, you give access to sections of the Employee Card, and in Options - access to the settings of the add-on itself.

 

Under the section name, you can choose Mode - View or Modify. Check / Uncheck all buttons implement quick selection or removal of settings for all groups.
