An expired version means that your free trial is over. Issue History for Jira users still have the option to use some app functionality for free even after the trial period. It includes the history of a single issue under the Activity tab. While this option enables you to get a well-structured layout of task history with filters and highlighting, you miss out on the other features that are extremely important when you are exploring past issues and user activity in Jira.
