There are several types of spreading forms:

  1. Adding a form to a Jira issue is used to collect information or work on additional tasks in a Jira issue. There 2 ways to add a form to a Jira issue and in both ways, there is an ability to share this form with external users.

    1. Automatically adding a form to a Jira issue is used for such situations when you need a certain form to be added immediately when you create a certain Jira issue type. Read more.

    2. Manual adding of a form to a Jira issue is used for adding a form or a few forms to a certain Jira issue by yourself. Read more.

  2. Adding a form to the Customer Portal (JSM) is used for adding a form to certain Jira tickets automatically for collecting additional information. Read more.

  3. Sharing a form with external users is used to involve individuals outside of Jira to fill out the form. Share form links on your website, blog, social media, or even in Jira Project Shortcut. Read more.
