How to standardize the process of Employee background check?
Imagine the situation: you need to do a Background Check on a potential employee. To do that, you create the appropriate issue in the necessary project (e.g. Background Check) with the background check to an assignee label.
To standardize this process, use any available template or create a new one with the required forms to submit.
Get Template Start URL by clicking the three dots next to the template. By default, it's off, click it to generate the link and copy it.
To set an Automation, go to the Project → Project settings → Automation → Create rule.
You must be a project administrator to add Automation.
Set up Trigger (in our case — Issue created) and add a condition (in our case — labels contain “background-check”). As an action, select Send web request and paste Template Start URL in the field Web request URL.
As HTTP method select GET.
After all, Save and Name the Rule.
Now when you have created an issue in Background Check project with a background check label, the automation will run and start the Employee Background Check process.
