The State Count report shows how many times a Work Item has been in each state.

  1. Choose a State Count report.

  1. Filter by the Query you need.

  1. Choose the date ranges for the data calculation.

  1. Choose a time format type that will be represented on the grid.

  2. Get all the State Count data on the grid as it’s shown below.

The calculation of the report on the Grid occurs according to the selected period. The State Count report calculates how much time a Work Item has moved to each state of the workflow during the particular period.

For example, the Work Item was in the To-Do state (1 time), then moved to the Doing statue, and after some time the Work Item returned to the To-Do state(+1 time). So the state count in the To-Do state for this Work Item is 2.

The calculation of the report on the Chart view occurs according to the selected period. State count calculates how many times the Work Item from the sample of tasks have been in each state.

Don't forget that you can export reports in .xlsx and .csv formats.
