Mentions Dashboard is your essential tool for Jira communication management, providing an easy-to-use interface to track and manage all mentions across teams.

Adhere to the steps in order to start using the Mentions gadget

  1. Go to your Jira Dashboard

  2. Tap on “Add a new gadget”

  3. Then search “Mentions Dashboard for Jira” in the Gadget list, and tap on the “Add Gadget” button
    screen

  4. Once added, name a gadget and select the comments you want to see on this Gadget.

  5. You can add up to 5 people to monitor comments

  6. Click the “Save” button”

  7. That’s all!

Mentions Dashboard for Jira is compatible with Jira Cloud, making it accessible and easy to use for users of Jira Software, Jira Core, and Jira Service Management.

How does it work?

The gadget reflects comments according to your settings.

For example, if you want to see all comments where you were mentioned, the Gadget will show comments you have not processed yet. Below the message you can find the “Reply“ button which automatically adds the mention of the comment author

 

Once you send a response, the record will disappear from your Gadget.
