Filter Jira issues by creation, update, or resolution dates in reports. Correctly setting issue resolution is crucial for accurate data retrieval and reflection of resolved issues in reports.

To set up Resolution follow this steps:

  1. Go to your Workflow: ⚙️ → Issues → Workflow (if you don’t have any Workflows, you have default one)

  2. Click “…” → Edit on your workflow page → Text →

  3. Select your Done transition and Click Edit

    • Please note that we are selecting the Done transition and not the Done status. This is critical as only the transition will give you the option of selecting Screens, the status will only allow you to change the Category.

  4. Select the Resolve Issue Screen for the Screen field

  5. You must return to the Workflow page and Publish the draft in order for the changes to go into effect.
