What is Template Start URL: how to get and use it?

What is Template Start URL?

Template Start URL - is a trigger that starts particular templates remotely.

The Process will start once the Start URL is opened.

This can be applied in conjunction with Jira Automation rules to start the process due to the selected trigger or by any other 3rd party application that can trigger URLs.

How to get Template Start URL?

Go to all Templates, hover over the Template you want to get Start URL from and click on “link“ icon.

By default, Template Start URL is off. Turn it on to get the link.

Now, you can use this URL as a trigger for Start Template.

Once Started, the system will display the “Ok“ message.
