Time in State Report

The Time in State report shows the total time a Work Item has stayed in each status.

  1. Choose the Time in State report.

  1. Filter by the Query you need.

  1. Choose the date ranges for the data calculation.

  1. Choose the time format type that will be represented on the grid.

  1. Get all the data on the grid as it’s shown below.

The time in state data that is displayed on the grid calculates in such a way: 

For example, the Work Item was in the Proposed state for 1h 21m , then moved to the Active state. After a while, the Work Item returned to the Proposed state and stayed there for 1 hour until it moved to another state. So the time in the Proposed state for this Work Item is 2h 21m.

The report calculation in the Charts view occurs during the chosen period. It counts the total time of the sample Work Item in states.

Don't forget that you can export reports in .xlsx and .csv formats.
