Scrolling the history of changes

Scrolling the history of changes

A scroll of changes allows you to track every modification made to the issue fields, making it easier to identify specific updates or revisions. You can scroll through the history to see one change at a time, who made it, and when. This is especially useful for tracking the evolution of issues over time and ensuring transparency in the workflow.

How does it work?

You can open the scrolling window of changes from any place: the Table view, the Activity view, the single issue pannel, and the gadget on the Jira dashboard.

To open the scrolling window, click on the change of the field you are interested in. Let’s check the time spent, for example:

After clicking, you will see a window where you can scroll changes one by one. There will be the last change shown.

Click on the Prev or Next button to see the previous and next changes accordingly.

Fields not available for scrolling: Assignee, Status, Priority, Labels, Issue Type, Links
