Enable&Disable recurring settings

The Enable&Disable recurring setting provides users with the capability to manage the automation of the Recurring Creation of a Jira Issue with a Checklist according to project requirements. This functionality allows users to control the generation of recurring tasks, enabling them to handle important task creation and temporarily suspend task recurrence when needed.

In the Checklist Grid, users can manually toggle the recurring settings by clicking on the designated toggle in the Recurring cell of the required checklist. This empowers them to enable or disable the recurrence for specific tasks as required.

Upon initially setting up recurrence, the recurring setting is automatically enabled, resulting in the system generating tasks at specified intervals or based on a predefined schedule.

To disable the recurring setting, simply click on the toggle, and the system will stop generating new instances of the task. This feature is helpful when team members are on vacation or absent, and you wish to avoid new task assignments during that period. Additionally, you have several options for pausing the recurrence:

  1. Enable recurring after a certain number of days/weeks/months/occurrences: Use this setting to resume recurring after a specified period of time or a specific number of task occurrences.

  2. Enable recurring on a specific date: This setting allows you to resume recurring tasks on a particular date.

  3. Not set: With this option, the recurring settings will remain disabled until you manually turn them on.

At any time, you can turn off any of the above rules and reactivate the recurring process by clicking on the designated toggle. By controlling the recurrence, users can ensure that important tasks are not missed or overlooked during times when team members are not available.
